I was not aware at all of this problem…1st time I’ve ever heard of it…glad to have learned about it so I can help others to know too. I don’t have a pool (l live beside a very swimmable lake) and don’t have a hot tub, but always thought if I did get one, it would be the kind heated by a wood burning stove. Please do send any info on mitigation measures please so I can learn all I can……thank you.

Hi Bart, you are still able to answer the survey as it is about the topic in general and does not cover specific pool/hot tub ownership questions. Thanks!

Hi Nora, this area is the comments section which is why you can see that answer. To answer the survey, you have to press the purple “begin” button.

Hi Don, thank you for your feedback! We have heard this from many people which is why we are releasing the toolkit. We look forward to you filling in the survey to let us know your thoughts.

The water table is under pressure from many directions. Releasing chemically treated ‘play’ water into our lakes and rivers is a thoughtless act.

None at all, I never considered a hot tub or pool a source of pollution

Hi Dennis, even if you don’t have a pool or hot tub you are still able to fill in the survey! It is about the education and general awareness around the topic rather than specific ownership questions.
