Nature has always influenced art, lending inspiration for the colours, textures, and forms that evoke the sense of peace that we feel when we are outside. Now, that connection comes full circle: art is giving back to nature in our new Nature Art Raffle!
This is an opportunity to win one of two stunning, hand-made art pieces while directly supporting the enhancement and protection of incredible freshwater ecosystems through our program delivery. In other words, ticket sales from our Nature Art Raffle help protect the very freshwater, wildlife, and plants that inspired the art itself!
The two stunning grand prizes are as detailed as they are breathtaking. The first is a hand-carved wood duck decoy made by Michael A. Reader that brings the beauty of this iconic bird into three dimensions. The second is an oil painting of a lake scene by artist Sue Miller, titled Balance, that showcases the interplay between water and light and the beauty held within. The combined total of these art pieces is over $3,300!
You could take home one of these unique, beautiful prizes – but you need to be in it to win it. Purchase raffle tickets before November 28th at water5050.ca – and be sure to share with family and friends so that they can get in on the fun, too!
