“Land Use Planning and Shoreline Restoration”

The 5th Annual Lake Links Workshop was held on October 21st, 2006 at the Perth and District Collegiate Institute in Perth, Ontario. With representation of government agencies (municipalities, provincial and federal organizations), non-government and volunteer organizations, along with representation from 22 lake associations, there were over 50 participants in attendance. Presentations and panel discussions by local experts addressed important lake topics including understanding the land use planning process and shoreline restoration. The morning and afternoon sessions were each followed by a panel of experts to answer questions.
