Eighteen new Ontario-curriculum linked Backpacks are now available for children and youth attending Free For All Community Services programs, thanks to a recent partnership with Watersheds Canada! Each Backpack is themed around urban nature exploration, and features items like Indigenous language cards, a net, magnifier, bug jar, pocket microscope, and more. The contents will help increase student engagement and identification skills regarding local species, and contribute to local environmental knowledge and action.
