“Local Waters, Local Decisions: Practical advice on how to move watershed issues forward with local government”
Julie Wright, Councillor Ward 7 at City of Waterloo, National Director of Our Living Waters
Tuesday, September 16th at 2pm ET / 11 am PT
Making the case for water health at the local level can be challenging – from jurisdictional “hot potato” to changing planning frameworks, it can be difficult to fit into municipal timelines and reporting cycles. Julie Wright is a Ward Councillor for the City of Waterloo in Ontario, and the National Director of Our Living Waters, a national network focused on healthy freshwater. In this free webinar, Julie will provide insights into how and when local governments make decisions and what tools communities can leverage to champion watershed issues.
