Registration is now open for “Design Your Shoreline” workshops in Horton Township, ON and South Frontenac, ON this Fall! This project is delivered in partnership with South Frontenac Township, Township of Horton, Trees for Life, Ottawa Riverkeeper, and Water Rangers, and is funded by RBC Foundation.
Participants will:
- Learn about the benefits of naturalized shorelines for water quality and wildlife.
- Develop a personalized shoreline planting plan using The Natural Edge Native Plant Database.
- Have the opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A session with Watersheds Canada staff.
- Take home 50 free native plants to help restore their shoreline.
South Frontenac, ON workshop

Unable to attend the workshop? You can pick up your plant kits on Friday September 25th at the Horton Community Centre, drop by any time from 4 – 7pm.
